The (Visegrád) V4 Architectural Foundation and the VERITAS Research Institute for History jointly host our colleague Eszter Zsófia Tóth, whose lecture is entitled Aristocratic Survival Strategies in the Communist Era.
As we know, the communist dictatorship ostracized, displaced and stigmatized the scions of noble families. From her own research, Eszter Zsófia Tóth introduces to the audience successful survival strategies employed by the former nobility. Based on the results of her findings on the Borbélys of Tiszaroff, she talks about the family’s children and grandchildren and how they cultivated the memories of their noble forbears.
The event is free to the public, but registration is required due to limited space. You may register at the following address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
