On November 18th, 2016, with a start time of 9:25 AM, the VERITAS Research Institute for History and the Committee of National Remembrance will jointly host an international conference in the ceremonial hall of the Hungarian National Museum. Distinguished experts, both Hungarian and from abroad, will seek the answers to whether there was any link between the Suez Crisis and the 1956 Hungarian Revolution, and what role, if any, Cold War thinking played as the two crises unfolded.
Registering for the conference is possible via the VERITAS website.
Location: Múzeum Boulevard 14-16, Budapest
Date: 9:30 AM on (Friday) November 18th, 2016
