On the occasion of the memorial year commemorating Hungarian political prisoners and forced laborers deported to the Soviet Union, a traveling exhibition titled Hungarians in the Camps of the Soviet Union – 1944-1956 has opened. The next stop will be in Nagybánya (Baia Mare, RO).

The exhibition will be opened by: Krisztina Csibi (Director of the Hungarian House)

The exhibition will be introduced by: Dávid Ligeti (Research Fellow at the VERITAS Research Institute for History)

Location: Teleki Hungarian House, str. Minerilor/Thököly u. (Street) 5-7, Nagybánya (Baia Mare, RO)

Following the introduction of the exhibition, interpreter Zoltán Balázs will read from Victor Kravchenko’s best-selling book I Chose Freedom.
