The local government of Kenderes and the Foundation to Remember Miklós Horthy are jointly organizing a Horthy Memorial Day, which is to include a worship service, a wreath laying, the unveiling of a commemorative plaque and an academic conference.

Presenters include: historian Andor Bánsági, Director of the Friendship Society for Preserving Austro-Hungarian Naval Heritage Szabina Kőszegi, firearms historian Col. László Töll and college associate professor Lajos Olasz. The VERITAS Institute will be represented by Gábor Ujváry, who will give a presentation titled An Era and its Namesake.
