The Hungarian National Museum and Ráció Publishing are organizing a roundtable discussion on the occasion of the release of Gábor Ujváry’s new book Bastions of Culture: The Role of Institutes, Academic Departments and Lectorates Abroad in the History of Hungarian Cultural Foreign Policy ––– Vienna and Hungarian Cultural Foreign Policy. Guests will be welcomed by Benedek Varga, Director of the Hungarian National Museum, and László L. Lajtai, Director of Ráció Publishing. The participants of the roundtable discussion will be István Fazekas (Associate Professor at Eötvös Loránd University – Faculty of Humanities), István Hiller (historian and Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly) and László L. Simon (Member of Parliament). Moderating the discussion will be Róbert Hermann, President of the Hungarian Historical Society.
