Memorial conference on the occasion of the seventieth anniversary of the execution of György Donáth

The VERITAS Research Institute for History and the Budapest City Archives are jointly organizing a conference titled The Trial of the Hungarian Brotherhood Community: The Seventieth Anniversary of the Execution of György Donáth. Guests will be welcomed by István Kenyeres, Director of the Budapest City Archives, to be followed by remarks by Péter Boross, former Prime Minister of Hungary.

The presenters will be:

Tibor Zinner – Head of the Archives at the VERITAS Research Institute for History

Nóra Szekér – Research Fellow at the History of the Hungarian Regime Change

Sándor Szakály – Director of the VERITAS Research Institute for History

István Ötvös – Committee Member for the Committee of National Remembrance

Lajos Izsák – Professor Emeritus at Eötvös Loránd University – Faculty of Humanities
