The Szeged Civil Platform is organizing a lecture series titled From Swamplands to the Dóm Square (The Development of Szeged): Living Historical Memory that takes a look at the history of this city on the banks of the Tisza River. Sándor Szakály, Director of the VERITAS Research Institute for History, has been invited to give the next lecture, which is titled The Great War and its Consequences. Following the lecture, which is scheduled to run seventy-five minutes, guests will be shown around the recently renovated crypt by a tour guide.
