On the centenary of the Battle of Caporetto (also known as the Twelfth Battle of the Isonzo), which was a major military victory for Hungary in WWI, the Déli Harangszó Baráti Kör (Noon Tolling of the Bells Circle of Friends) is hosting a roundtable discussion at which the book A katonabáró (The Soldier Baron) will be introduced to the public. The book, about the life of Vitéz Baron Sándor Szurmay de Uzsok*, has been co-published by the local government of the XVI District of Budapest and the Vitéz Sándor Szurmay Budapest Garrison Brigade of the Hungarian Armed Forces. The participants of the discussion will be: journalist and author of the book György M. Tóth, historian Sándor Szakály and Balázs Kovács, who is a descendent of the general.

*Vitéz Sándor Szurmay was responisible for successfully defending Hungary from Russian invasion in 1914-15.
