The International Association of Gulag Researchers is organizing a commemoration to honor the memory of the hundreds of thousands of victims of the Gulag Archipelago. As part of the commemorative ceremony, a new exhibition will be unveiled titled Málenkij Robot: Victims of Forced Labor in the Soviet Union. The Mintha band will also perform at the event, which will be followed by a book premiere for three new volumes:

Zalán Bognár’s The Fate of Hungarian, German, Austrian, Slovak, Polish, French, Italian and other POWs in Hungary Occupied by the Red Army 1944–1945

Zalán Bognár and Andrea Muskovics’s Humans in an Inhumane World

András Majorszki’s A Journey into Inhumanity: Gulag Memorial Tour 2016–2017

The books will be discussed and critiqued by Sándor SzakályÁron Máthé and Richárd Bernáth. The patron of the event will be Csaba Latorcai, Deputy State Secretary for Priority Social Affairs.
