The Hungarian Academy of Sciences, the Human Capacities Aid Administration and the Foundation for a Civic Hungary jointly organize the Hungarian Heritage Awards ceremony.  

The recipients:

Budafok-Tétényi Nádasdy Kálmán Elementary Art School and Elementary School, for instilling traditions and arts education in its students (to be extolled by Zsolt Németh, Head of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly);

Géza Illyés, surgeon, for his innovations in medicine and surgery (to be extolled by Imre Romics, Department of Urology – Semmelweis University);

Ludovika Academy, the Hungarian military academy (to be extolled by Sándor Szakály, Director of the VERITAS Research Institute for History);

Ferenc Gergely, organist, for his liturgical music (to be extolled by László Tardy, cantor / conductor and recipient of the Ferenc Liszt and Hungarian Heritage awards);

Géza Erdélyi, Protestant bishop, for his assorted community-building endeavors (to be extolled by István B. Kovács, historian, writer, local historian and editor from Rimaszombat, Rimavská SobotaSK);    

Frigyes Pálos, for his many varied endeavors on behalf of Christian culture (to be extolled by Miklós Beer, Bishop of Vác);

Ferenc Móra, for his heritage research and literary endeavors (to be extolled by Béláné Kapus, President of the Ferenc Móra Public Education Association).
