The Metropolitan Ervin Szabó Library and ELTE Budapest Institute of Library and Information Science jointly organize a web project premiere titled Just Before Closing Time at the Wave Pool: Lifeguard Sándor Pusztai’s Photographs of the Guests of the Gellért Bath in the 1930’s. As a result of the combined efforts of the two institutes, librarians, university students and researchers, as well as the heirs of the onetime photographer, visitors can see the first complete collection of his photographic legacy.  

The event is opened by Péter Fodor, Director of the Metropolitan Ervin Szabó Library, and Péter Kiszl, Director of ELTE Budapest Institute of Library and Information Science. The project is introduced by János Fodor, Senior Lecturer / Librarian, and Tibor Sándor, Librarian. András Joó, VERITAS Senior Research Fellow, talks about spa culture in Budapest in the 1930’s.
