The Institute and Museum of Military History organizes and hosts an international conference titled The Military Collapse of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy and its Aftermath.
Col. Vilmos Kovács, Commander of the Institute and Museum of Military History, makes welcoming remarks. Sándor Szakály, Director of the VERITAS Research Institute for History, opens the conference. As part of the conference, Csaba Kandrács, Managing Director of the Hungarian National Bank, officially unveils a commemorative coin that honors the one hundredth anniversary of the end of the Great War. Róbert Hermann, Subject Team Leader at the VERITAS Research Institute for History, chairs the first session of the conference.
