The VERITAS Research Institute for History, the Directorate for Public Collections and Public Education of the Office of the National Assembly and the Hungarian Historical Society jointly organize a conference titled History and Role of the Holy Crown of Hungary and its Regalia in the 20th Century*. President of the Republic of Hungary János Áder and Minister of Human Capacities Miklós Kásler give welcoming remarks. The VERITAS Institute is represented by:

*To keep it from falling into Soviet hands, the Holy Crown was spirited away to the United States following WWII. With President Jimmy Carter’s blessing, Secretary of State Cyrus Vance returned it to Hungary in 1978.
