On January 6th, 1498, King Ulászló (Vladislaus) II bequeathed Somogy County a coat-of-arms. To commemorate this historic event that took place 521 years ago, the Somogy County Assembly organizes a series of events titled Somogy County Week. As part of the festivities, Sándor Szakály has been invited to speak. His lecture is titled Somogy ‘44-ers in the Great War.
