VERITAS Research Institute for History and Archives

04 April 2019

On the occasion of István Zombori’s seventieth birthday, devotees of the historian and former Director of the Móra Ferenc Museum introduce the new compendium Laborator assiduu (Ceaseless Laborer) to the public. Our colleague Kálmán Árpád Kovács shows his appreciation for his colleague and onetime teacher through his contribution to the collection, a work about Benő Békefi and his reports to the state security apparatus.

Welcoming remarks are made by Bishop Asztrik Várszegi (Ordo Sancti Benedicti) and Csaba Szabó (Director of the National Archives of Hungary). The book is introduced by Antal Molnár (of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences – Research Center for the Humanities – Institute of History) and Ádám Somorjai (Ordo Sancti Benedicti).
