On the anniversary of the murder of Lajos Návay*, the local governments of Makó and Földeák and the Návay Lajos Memorial Committee jointly host a commemoration. An academic conference follows the laying of wreaths at the gravesites of Lajos Návay and Iván Návay. Dávid Ligeti and Gábor Ujváry represent the VERITAS Institute at the event. Their lectures are entitled From the Aster Revolution to the Red Star: Hungary in 1919 and “They proclaimed the Gospel but unleashed the Apocalypse instead…” The Commune in Hungary, respectively.
