As part of the Polgári esték (Civil Evenings) event series, our colleague László Anka has been invited to Nagyvárad (Oradea, RO) to speak. The title of his lecture is Albert Apponyi at the Paris Peace Conference*.

* For Hungary WWI culminated with the catastrophic Treaty of Trianon, in which she lost two-thirds of her territory and three-fifths of her population. Albert Apponyi had led the Hungarian delegation at the Paris Peace Conference, where the treaty was drawn up.
