The Hungarian National Museum, the VERITAS Research Institute and Archives and Ráció Publishers jointly organize a roundtable discussion and book premiere for Bálint Hóman and His People's Tribunal Trial. Our colleague Gábor Ujváry has painstakingly compiled, reviewed and footnoted the documents related to Hóman’s 1946 trail at the People’s Tribunal and provided the reader with an all-encompassing chronology of Hóman’s life. Benedek Varga, Director of the Hungarian National Museum, and László L. Lajtai, Managing Director of Ráció Publishers, give welcoming remarks. The roundtable participants include: Zsolt Horváth (former judge at the Budapest–Capital Regional Court), László L. Simon (MP and Vice Chairman of the Committee on Culture), Éva Susa (expert anthropologist and justice counsellor), István Varga (attorney), Tibor Zinner (Scientific Advisor of the Hungarian Jewish Institute of History at Milton Friedman University) and Gábor Ujváry. The moderator for the evening is József Csurgai Horváth (Director of the City Archives and Research Institute of Székesfehérvár).
