The Hungarian National Assembly Directorate for Public Collections and Public Education and the Hungarian Historical Society jointly organize a historiographical conference entitled 1919: The Great Collapse. The main patron of the conference is László Kövér, Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary. The VERITAS Institute is represented by historians László Anka (Nascent Programs in Autumn 1918), Máté Gali (Miklós Horthy’s Road to Power), Dávid Ligeti (The Armed Forces in Changing Political Circumstances) and Róbert Hermann (VERITAS Subject Team Leader / President of the Hungarian Historical Society), who presides as chairman of the concluding session of the conference.
