The Research Center for the Humanities – Institute for Literary Studies and the Hungarian National Museum jointly organize the first event of the Pulszky Afternoons debate series, a roundtable discussion about Hungarian national hero Francis II Rákóczi*. Participants include Ferenc Tóth (Senior Research Fellow / Scientific Advisor at the Research Center for the Humanities – Institute of History), Gábor Tüskés (Scientific Advisor / Head of Department at the Research Center for the Humanities – Institute for Literary Studies) and our colleague Gábor Ujváry. The moderator for the discussion is Réka Lengyel (Senior Research Fellow at the Research Center for the Humanities – Institute for Literary Studies).   

Location: Széchényi Auditorium at the Hungarian National Museum, Múzeum körút (Boulevard) 14-16, Budapest

Date: 4 PM on (Tuesday) January 14th, 2020

*Francis II Rákóczi led Hungarian forces in the fight for independence against the Habsburgs between 1703 and 1711.
