The Keszthely Local Council commemorates the martyrs of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution with a 2-day series of events, beginning with a torchlight procession on Thursday. The next day, following a church service, MP Jenő Manninger and Mayor Bálint Nagy give welcoming remarks. VERITAS Director Sándor Szakály gives the keynote speech. The commemoration concludes with a promenade concert and film screening.
