The Rubicon Institute and Rubicon Historical Journal jointly organize a roundtable discussion about Hungary and her entry into the Second World War. Historians Sándor Szakály, Pál Pritz and Máté Gali attempt to provide answers to questions that are still debated today. For example, what do we know for certain about the bombing of Kassa? In terms of diplomacy, how much room to maneuver did Hungary have? How prepared was the Royal Hungarian Army when Hungary entered the war?
If you wish to attend, you must provide proof of vaccination. The event is free to the public, but registration is required here.
