On April 2nd, 2015 (Thursday), at 2 PM, Kronusz Publishing and the Hungarian Historical Society will host the premier of the first five volumes of the Sziluett (Silhouette) series at the Historical Archives of the Hungarian State Security. One of the books in this series of modern historical biographies is Gábor Ujváry’s “A European Type of Statesmen: Kuno Klebelsberg (1875-1932)", which Róbert Kerepeszki, adjunct professor at the University of Debrecen, will appraise.
Pécs-based Kronusz Publishing, in partnership with the Hungarian Historical Society, has begun the Sziluett (Silhouette) series of modern monographs in 2014, whose objective is to acquaint the reader with lesser known Hungarian individuals ranging from the middle ages to the end of the 20th century who have been unfairly shunned by history (the so-called “gray eminences”). These biographies will be educational in nature, and mainly cover those individuals about whom no biography has ever been written. In this way, a historical gap will be closed.
