The Office of the National Assembly and the VERITAS Research Institute for History will mutually host a memorial conference on the occasion of the 25th anniversary (1990) of the formation of the freely elected Hungarian National Assembly on Wednesday, May 6th.

The conference will take place in the Upper House of the Parliament. In addition to the renowned historians who will present, two prime ministers, Viktor Orbán, Hungary’s current Prime Minister, and Péter Boross, former Prime Minister (1993-1994), will share their thoughts on the events of 1990 from a historical perspective.
