A commemoration of the Day of National Unity in Mosonmagyaróvár

June 4th is the Day of National Unity – the statute proclaiming the day as such was passed by the National Assembly on May 31st, 2010, becoming law on the 90th anniversary of the Treaty of Trianon, and declares that the united Hungarian nation transcends country borders.

TrianonkeresztOn this occasion the local government of Mosonmagyaróvár, the Trianon Cross Association and the Flesch Károly Nonprofit Ltd. will mutually host a celebration at the Trianon cross memorial on the square adjacent to the evangelical church in Mosonmagyaróvár on June 7th, 2015, at 4:30 PM. At the commemoration, following the performance of the poetry and music compilation of “…Fuse into One, Hungarian Nation”, Dr. Gábor Ujváry, Subject Team Leader at the VERITAS Research Institute for History, will give a celebratory speech.
