This year the Hungarian Hydrological Society will host its 34th National Conference titled One Hundred Years of the Hungarian Hydrological Society. The eleven sections of the conference will cover all of the following subjects: fluvial system water management, water disaster control, territorial water management, water supply management, wastewater collection and treatment, sewers and drainage, hydraulic engineering and hydrogeology, the relevance of geological engineering, the history of water management etc.
Kálmán Árpád Kovács, Research Fellow at the VERITAS Research Institute for History, as part of the History of Water Management section, will give his lecture titled The Austrian State Council and the Formation of Hungarian Water Management (1761-1772).
